Matthew Charles Anderson is a New York City-based photographer whose main areas of interest include Beauty and Portraiture. With over 20 years of experience, Matthew has refined his studio techniques and retouching skill set in order to produce stunning images of various clients and subjects. He believes that photography and retouching should be employed as tools for the purpose of bringing forward the most beautiful and attractive attributes of an individual. His goal is to generate images that reflect the way people are subjectively remembered in the mind's eye, with a positive and flawless perspective, as opposed to merely documenting the vivid details of reality. Matthew has worked as an image editor and product photographer for several companies including Victoria’s Secret, David’s Bridal and Barney’s. Matthew received his BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts (NYC) and an Associates degree in Art and Advertising Design from the New York City College of Technology.
